Gucci’s Selfridges pop-up shop is a millennial pink paradise. Selfridges’ corner Shop has become quite the retail hot spot with a diverse list of parties being hosted there. From Fendi to Michèle Lamy to The Rolling Stones, they have successfully set up camp in the prime shopfront real estate. Now, it’s Gucci’s turn.
Of course, Gucci has to “Guccify” the space. With Every inch of the 150sq metre area, Gucci got it immersed in pink, covered with bubblegum carpet and glossy display units filling the floor, with tinsel and optic fibres dropping down from the ceiling. Velvet-framed mirrors and the Gucci logo in shining bright lights, completed the millennial shopping heaven.
What treats does the brand have in stock for us behind the metallic pink curtains? Two handbag styles are available to purchase as a worldwide exclusive, alongside 12 leather goods that are unique to Selfridges within Europe.
Other than that, the Gucci Décor collection would also be available for purchase. The set which includes, scented candles and hand embroidered cushions, will also be on sale at the store. Of course there will be a horde of jewelry, hats, gloves and the Instagram hyped Flashtrek trainers. All these and more help to provide ample Christmas gift inspiration.
The store would be open until January 6. For all the holiday travelers out there, use this opportunity to check out the Gucci pink haven.
