Designer Nuraniya Ikhalea’s eponymous label reveals it’s second collection of the year, Ambiguity, for Resort 2015, continuing to explore the minimal aesthetic with clean lines and unfussy yet interesting silhouettes.
Describing the collection as offering “Contemporary Minimalism”, simple embellishments add texture to the looks without overwhelming the clean shapes. Wide leg pants have pearl like studs neatly spaced along the length. The same beading is tightly packed along hems and necklines on dresses and skirts providing texture and contrast.
The effect is simple but effective, elevating the minimal looks beyond the utilitarian and making them more distinctive and glamorous.
