As far back as I can remember, I’ve been been cursed with over enthusiastic hair growth.
I can imagine what you’re thinking right now, how can that be a problem, who doesn’t like long and full hair right? Well, when that growth enthusiasm extends to other parts of the body other than the head, you can tell there’s going to be a problem. Imagine having so much hair on your arms, legs, chest and everywhere else, that you start wishing you had alopecia and I’m a guy, the society expects me to have hair in most of those areas, so it’s all good. But imagine having these issues as a lady who by ‘said standards’ should have skin as smooth and hairless as egg, frustrating right?
Whether it’s a facial hair, or hair on the arms or legs, you can get rid of it all with just some simple home remedies. Instead of buying products that may or may not work and getting yourself prone to side effects, just stick to the natural side and say goodbye to you problems with a little bit of work.
Mix one teaspoon each of honey, lemon, and sugar. Heat the ingredients in a microwave for one to two minutes until the mixture becomes warm. Using the dull side of a butter knife, apply a smooth layer on your face. For arms and legs, use a strip of clean fabric to remove hair using this homemade wax recipe.
Create a sticky paste by blending one egg white, ½ tablespoon corn flour, and one tablespoon of sugar. Apply the remedy to your face and gently peel off after it has dried. Repeat this process three to four times per week to get the desired results.
You’re going to need turmeric powder, sesame oil and gram oil for this remedy, Mix a tablespoon of turmeric powder with an equal amount of gram flour, and stir well to combine. Pour in the sesame oil until you have a thick paste. Using your fingers, apply the paste to the areas with unwanted body hair. Let the mixture dry for about 30 minutes before rinsing off with warm water. Use a gentle scrubbing motion to get rid of the paste, and a bit of hair will come off. You can repeat this remedy once weekly to deal with your body hair!
This method doesn’t apply to the face. After applying soap and water, by using the pumice stone to gently scrub your skin regularly it reduces the hair growth overtime and make sure you’re not too hard on your skin to avoid bruising.
Well a number of hairy women love themselves the way they are and I’d say that it’s also pretty cool, but for the rest who don’t like it, get busy girl!
