It was a display of layers for fashion brand Roksanda this season at London Fashion Week. Taking on summer 2017, the designer went for breezy layering, earth tones and shimmery textures.
Roksanda’s spring collection this year wear filled with babydoll dresses layered over wide-leg trousers, blouses paired with suits, trousers in sporty stripes. There were also long flowing dresses, some with racer backs, others with skinny straps, and others knitted. The color palettes was more about dark yellow, pink, bright blue and more.
In her notes, the creative designer talked on her inspiration.
“I was thinking about nature, pebbles, sunflowers — earth palettes,” said the designer. The palette was more about lakes and mountains rather than the seaside, and took in rust, dark yellow, copper and dusty pink, with dashes of bright blue.”
I particularly love the fluidity in the clothes and how they made the models look sexy with just the right amount of class.
