The latest designer craze which has some of our fave celebrities Fendi-ing and Gucci-ing away, isn’t exactly one that is approved by a majority of fashion critics, with their continuous echo of the more-is-not-more ideal. Often, it is described as a classless display of wealth, un-original and lacking that creative juice that makes truly stylish pieces art, but I think the latest Polo Avenue campaign could dissuade their views.
Luxury store Polo Avenue just released a campaign which we can only describe as a nexus of luxury and art.
“Polo Avenue’s Spring Summer 2018 campaign is an ultra glamorous display of bold colors & movement in a futuristic yet Classic inspired campaign showcasing accessories as art from Fashion houses Gucci, Jimmy Choo, Salvatore Ferragamo, Valentino, Gedebe and more,” says an accompanying campaign release statement. The genius combination of various luxury designer pieces in an artsy and certainly pleasing aesthetic would have critics throwing out the previous ideal for a more luxurious one.
“This SS18 campaign combines visually striking imagery with the Polo Avenue attitude”, it continued. Well we weren’t aware there was a polo avenue attitude that asides being bougie AF, but we’re totally down for it. View images from the campaign below;
