If we had to give out an award for most refreshing makeup look of the year 2018, it would definitely go to the princess. Away from the overly beat faces and space popping highlights, Meghan’s simple, clean no-makeup makeup look was definitely a refreshing diversion—no questions asked.
The princess looked completely effortless, pushing forward and enhancing her features rather than changing them, also going easy with her choice of eye makeup and lip color, Soft brown Smokey eyes with little under eye definition, paired with a soft sheer pink lip color, her brows were not left out of the super duper easy goodness, softly defined brows not overly done but just right.
For her skin, she chose radiant natural skin, going very light choosing to accentuate her freckles rather than cover them up, her skin was pretty much visible through her makeup(no cake zone please), all thanks to the help of her makeup artist, Daniel Martin.
To achieve this look;
You want to start out with clean, well prepped skin, Cleanse tone and hydrate ( Try the ‘OleHenriksen Balance it all set).
Use an illuminating primer ( try out ‘cover fx’ illuminating primer for that radian from within glow).
A wash of very light weight foundation or tinted moisturizer to keep the skin looking like skin without caking it up (Try ‘the ordinary serum foundation, or tinted moisturizer from ‘No7’) swipe translucent powder lightly under the eye to keep it from creasing.
To line your eyes (Mac’s Teddy Eye pencil).
For your soft brown Smokey eyes (try Zaron uno eyeshadow in mocha).
Accentuate your eyes a bit using a lengthening mascara (try Zaron’s lengthening mascara).
Swipe very lightly across your lips using a baby pink lip color (try a very light finger swipe of either black opal’s color splurge color stick in ‘baby doll’, Omolewa cosmetics lip lip cream ‘Temima’ or Maybelline baby lips ‘pink lolita’ remember to go very light handed with the lips!
A light swipe of blush (try Zaron cosmetics hyper blush in. ‘Mud fest ‘) to bring color back into your skin and voila!
