Off – White Has Become The Biggest Brand On The Planet

It has really been a great year for the street wear brand Off – White and also for Virgil Abloh overall. He’s become the Creative Director Of Louis Vuitton, he debuted his first ever collection with Louis Vuitton in June and most recently a conceptual Pop – up retail store set up in London to celebrate the arrival of the new collection at the stores. Abloh has been having on going collaborations with Nike, which was worn by Serena Williams in the US Open Final, and at Paris Fashion Week Abloh brought athletes into the runway turning it into a track, with sports-couture pieces and Nike shoes. He’s also had a collaboration with IKEA, which is a company that makes home furnitures. As far as 2018 goes, the Virgil reign is not letting up.

Although Abloh’s collaboration with Nike is the single greatest factor driving his brand on social media, it seems that the brand buzz surrounding Virgil Abloh and his disruptive creative aesthetic continues to grow. And now according to Lyst Index’s quarterly report which lists the Fashion hottest brands and products, Off-White has gone up in the rank up to 33 places, followed by Gucci, Balenciaga, Nike and Prada. Off – White is also responsible for 3 out of 20 products in the hottest products lists. This list is compiled from or based off of analyzing aggregation of online traffic, social media engagement and immediate sales figures.

All this come as no surprise because Off – White has really been receiving the greatest buzz in the internet and also in the fashion world and since this has really been Virgil Abloh’s year and he’s been winning plaudits for his role at Louis Vuitton, the commissioned home furniture for IKEA and his various collaborations with Nike.
