Santa Claus and Snowballs – 10 Amazing Christmas Travel Destinations

Yet another beautiful Christmas season has befallen us. For me, it dawned on me that another Christmas was here the day Zenith bank put up the decorations at  Ajose Adeogun.

Why that street is still named Ajose Adeogun and not Zenith street is something I might not ever be able to fathom but that’s a story for another day.

Today it’s about waking up and realizing that I didn’t want to spend the holidays in Nigeria. I yearn to travel, to explore Christmas through the lens of other cultures, on the streets of other nations and in hotels I only see in magazines.

Or maybe I just want to see things in a different light, to build a snowman, to eat food that might confine me to a permanent spot on the white throne ( There’s flagyl to the rescue though) and to be, for a week or more, unburdened by the constraints of responsibilities.

Google is now my best friend and although we had quite a slow start to this friendship but thanks to the good people of Stylevitae especially Samantha, the friendship has now blossomed into an unbreakable romance ( It might last longer than any of my relationships have ever done).

So I asked my best friend – where is the best place to have an unforgettable Christmas, and as always, I’m overwhelmed by the answers.

I have drawn up a list of ten places I’m seriously considering and all that’s left now for me to make this wish and desire come through is some money in my account. My non existence savings is another story for a different day.
