Popular German multinational company that produces athletic and casual footwear, as well as sportswear, Puma, presented their Spring 2015 collection in New York on Thursday, 7th of May.
I was excited when I first saw the news and hoped that I would see some Rihanna inspired work since she was recently signed on as creative director but this collection has nothing to do with Rihanna and rather focuses more on the brand’s sportswear aesthetics .
The collection featured collaborations with retailer, Alife and the brand signature Suede Classic which comes in Suede Classic Splatter and Suede Classic Allover Splatter for the men. For the women, the collection features the Match brand which comes in both canvas and leather.
More importantly, in keeping with the weather conditions, athletes wearing the sport shoe might encounter, Puma revamped its performance footwear for this collection. The shoes have the PWR cool thermo-regulation technology which is a temperature – regulating material designed to make sure that the feet of the athlete remained cool throughout.
My favorite of the collection has to be this black pair with white sole and grey adornments and embellishments.
