Do you have a bucket list? What’s on your bucket list? Have you checked off the items on your bucket list?
The saying; “Fifty is the new thirty” might be one of the most annoying ones to ever go through this millennium, but there’s no denying that reaching this particular milestone is a more exciting prospect than it’s ever been before. Men in their fifties are starting to realize they are likely more than halfway through life and are ready to step outside of his comfort zone.
Let’s take Hollywood superstar (and probably the most bankable actor);Will Smith for example. Will Smith jumping out of a helicopter into the Grand Canyon on his 50th birthday, is everything I personally aspire to be. Let’s take a look at SV’s guide to ten ultimate bucket list ideas to tick off now you’ve hit the big 5-0 according to Will Smith;
1. Try an extreme sport
Sure, a “heli bungee” over the Grand Canyon is on the next-level side of the bucket list spectrum, but we are well advised to tackle an extreme sport in honor of hitting fifty. Bungee jumping, skydiving, zip lining, or for the faint hearted ; paragliding. There are plenty of adrenaline fuelled options to choose from. You’ve made it this far, and the thought that not everyone lives until old age should be enough to bring out the daredevil within; life is short.

2. Go travelling
The second most obvious entry is, of course, travelling (because who says you have to be eighteen to jet off for longer than two weeks). Go on a trip, see the world, experience new cultures; but most importantly don’t go alone. I mean the more the merrier right?

3. Run a marathon
Ditch the cycling shorts and sign up for a marathon to prove that there’s life in you. You’ll look great, feel great while racking up some serious charity donations (because at this age everyone you know, probably has enough money at this stage in life to contribute).
4. Drive your dream car
This might sound a little too mid life crisis, but if you haven’t managed to buy your dream car by the time you hit fifty, you deserve, at the very least, to take it for a spin (We’re positive there are cars rentals that provide such cars). Be it a Ferrari, an Aston Martin V8 Vantage or a state-of-the-art Mercedes Benz, the sheer exhilaration will definitely be worth it.

5. Write a book
This one’s for all of you who have drolled on about writing a novel, memoir or ridiculous self help book for the past thirty years, only to spend your Sundays in the bar instead. At fifty, life’s pace tends to slow down a little, so make the most of this big opportunity and finally put your pen to paper.
This was awesome! I would like you to clean up all this spam though
