The longest-reigning monarch in British history, Queen of the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, and head of the Commonwealth, Queen Elizabeth II, is 90 today.
Over the years since her ascension in 1952, the Queen’s style has been one to look out for – simple but distinctive, colorful yet elegant, regal and timeless.
She favours high end pieces from British designers such as Stewart Parvin and Angela Kelly among others.
Tweed coats, dresses in bright colours ranging from zingy violet and hot pink to lime and sunshine yellow, matching hats and bag, simple shoes, pearl necklaces and hand gloves to finish the look is a typical day in the style diary of the Queen.
I particularly love her style, because of the regal fashion, monochrome vibes and her very beautiful hats.
