#ThrowbackThursday – Beyoncé’s Best Grammy Looks

The 57th Annual Grammy Awards will be held on Sunday February 8, 2015 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California and while we are excited to see the performances and congratulate the winners, it’s the red carpet looks that we are really excited to see. For our throwback today, we take a look at the red carpet looks of one of our favourite stars and nominee for album of the year – Beyoncé.

Beyoncé’s 5th album (which is aptly titled Beyonce) is amongst the contenders for Album Of The Year alongside Morning Phase (Beck),
X (Ed Sheeran), In the Lonely Hour (Sam Smith) and Girl (Pharrell Williams).

She always slays on the red carpet and I can’t wait to see what she  pulls off this year.  Here are some of my favourite Grammy looks –

In 2014, Beyoncé wore this beautiful sheer white Michael Costello creation. With a wavy bob and a bold red lipstick, she totally slayed on the red carpet and it was one of my favorite looks of that night.

In 2013 Beyoncé was the epitome of sophistication and class, choosing a black and white Osman Yousefzada  jumpsuit over the usual flowing dress look. Pulling her hair back in ponytail with a centre parting, she chose minimal jewelry and went for matte red lipstick to complete the look.

In 2008, Beyoncé went for a nude dress with a plunging neckline with an exposed zip detail in front down to the hips. The Stephane Rolland creation accentuated her curves and she accessorized the look with pyramid drop earrings. She went with nude lips and long hair worn down for a classy finish.

The superstar chose a powder blue Elie Saab dress for the occasion in 2008. The strapless dress with its shimmering silver bodice merged into chiffon fabric that flowed down in bridal fashion. She wore her hair blonde with dark roots and went for minimal makeup. Accessories were restricted to jeweled drop earrings and a sparkly cuff.

It was Elie Saab again for Beyoncé when she wore this strapless tan sheer number for the 2006 Grammy awards. Setting it of it off with red jewel and silver earrings and ring and a slim cylindrical clutch, Beyoncé was the picture of confidence on the red carpet.

Roberto Cavalli was the creative mind behind this fabulous black and gold dress that Beyoncé wore to the 2005 Grammy awards. The dress with its plunging neckline and gold band on the bodice showed off her beautiful shape. With her hair in an enormous sleek bun and  minimal makeup with peachy tones, Beyoncé looked every inch the screen goddess.

In 2004, the star stood out as one to  look forward to seeing on the red carpet with this gold House Of Deréon number. Beyoncé complimented the look with a web like gold and diamond necklace that lit up the night.
