TAJÉ PRODUCTIONS Celebrates The Launch of Groundbreaking Vertical Series Thick & Uninterrupted With Cocktails & Conversation

To celebrate the launch of its new vertical series, Thick & Uninterrupted, TAJÉ PRODUCTIONS hosted “Cocktails & Conversation with Marie Claire Nigeria,” at Lala’s Lagos Boutique Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos, with a gathering of select women from across media, business, politics, and the creative industries for an evening of meaningful dialogue, connection, and celebration.

Created by producer and media personality Tajé Prest, Thick & Uninterrupted “explores confidence, identity, desire, and representation through the story of Maya, a bold and self-assured woman navigating love, relationships, and life on her own terms”.

Guests engaged in candid converstation around what it means to be a woman in Nigeria today, what it is like navigating beauty standards and identity, relationships and intimacy as a curvy woman, and the importance of taking up space unapologetically.

Tajé Prest, founder of TAJÉ PRODUCTIONS, shared,“Thick & Uninterrupted is about more than being curvy. It’s about refusing to shrink yourself to make others comfortable. It’s about women owning their space, their voices, and their stories; fully and without interruption.”

The event was attended by several influential women including Marie Claire Nigeria’s Editor-in-Chief Denise Eseimokumoh, Bukky George-Taylor, Waje, Juliet Ibrahim, Liz Osho, Kanayo Ebi, Mimi Onolaja, DWL's Ivie Osula, Ijeoma Okonkwo, Zainab Olisamah, Amiola Aguda, Sabrina Odukpaye, and Chinonso Arubayi.

It featured signature cocktails, curated canapés, editorial portraits captured by Posh Clicks, and a fashion moment by label DWL Online who styled five women for the evening, celebrating individuality and confidence.

Keeping the evening as a space centred on women’s voices, men only joined the gathering during the final hour, including Igwe and Maxwell Nwokoye, who portray male leads in Thick & Uninterrupted.

Media partner Marie Claire Nigeria documented the event with live updates across its platforms, capturing the energy of conversations and the atmosphere of the evening which left guests energized and asking when the next such event would take place.

Thick & Uninterrupted is part of TAJÉ PRODUCTIONS’ growing slate of storytelling projects across film, digital series, podcasts, and live conversations, focused on bold narratives centered on women who unapologetically take up space.
